The Power of Mastery to Change Your Life

Hi,

Thanks for being a member of my traffic and conversion sites.

I use the word "mastery" a lot. There is a good reason for that.

When you "master" something, that means a level of knowledge and proficiency well above average. If you want to have success in any area of your life, then you have to "master" the key elements that will take you there.

Being an "average" email copywriter will not get your list to engage.

Being an "average" traffic generator will not get you signups.

Being an "average" sales person will not get you sales.

This concept applies equally to your personal life.

Being an "average" parent does not turn out exceptional children.

Being an "average" spouse does not make an amazing marriage.

The reason that so few people get exceptional results is because they are NOT constantly trying to MASTER the key skills for success.

My life has been blessed by many great things and I have also had many difficult challenges. I credit what I have accomplished and my ability to weather the challenges to the fact that I have been on a never-ending quest for mastery since I was a teenager. My first focus was to master my own mind and thought process, then focusing on mastering business and technology. Those skills opened up a lot of doors of opportunity that have led me on this path I call "my life".

Many people may call me obsessed with mastery. I take that as a compliment. In the words of author and real estate investor, Grant Cardone, "Be obsessed or be average."

If someone is happy being average, then that is great for them. I don't judge anyone's happiness. Happiness is the ultimate goal.

However, the fact that you are connected with me, tells me that you are probably looking to change some things in your life. If you want that change to ACTUALLY HAPPEN, then you need to figure out what areas you need to MASTER to make that change.

Once you have identified the areas that you need to work on, then you have to prioritize the time to work on developing that mastery.

We all have the same 24 hours in the day and tons of things vying for that time. Ultimately, we are the ones that decide how those hours are allocated.

"Show me someone's schedule and bank account and I will tell you what is important to them."

How we choose to use our time and our money are the true indicators of what is important.

If someone is saying that they want to build a business, but is spending 3 hours a day watching television, then it is easy to see that entertainment is more important to them than their business. Same applies to your budget. If you have money to spend $100 a month for cable TV but no money to invest in your business, then your priorities are not in line with your words.

YOU NEED TO DEVOTE YOUR RESOURCES TO MASTERY.

Only once you have put in the time and work to master a skill will you start to see the results from it.

If you want results, you need to start the quest to become "world class" today.

The skills you need to develop will vary depending on your goals. For more about how to determine what those key skills are, and how to develop them, you should watch my video on the Three Pillars of Success Mastery.
