We don't get paid for our work. We get paid for our results.
As online business owners, affiliate marketers, or network marketers, our pay is not tied to how many hours we put it. It is tied into the results that we achieve with those hours.
We also know that simply working more hours does not necessarily generate more results. Some people achieve great results for each hour they spend and others generate no results despite working every waking hour.
What is the difference between those who get results and those who do not?
Their capabilities. Successful people have the wisdom and skill to know exactly what to focus on and what to do with every minute of their work time.
They were not gifted or born with those skills or that wisdom. They developed it through focusing on learning.
You can also develop those skills and accomplish those results, if you take some time for learning the key skills to be more productive and a better marketer.
It was Stephen Covey who said in the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, that if given 3 hours to cut down a tree, he would spend the first 2 hours to sharpen the saw. You need to do the same.
That is why I focus most of my time on training and coaching, not inventing new tools. Tools are useless in the hands of those who do not know how to use them properly.
